Project: Edelman ESG: Branding & Pitch Deck
Agency: Edelman
Goal: Staying within the Edelman brand, establish a visual language that encompasses and expresses the values of Environment Social Governance.
In creating the look and feel of EdelmanESG, I poured through hundreds of images from a wide range of stock agencies. I’ve found that by building out the cover, dividers, and end slides, a skeleton is formed, and tone can be constructed. Fonts, palette, process graphics, even icons, need to work with the imagery and further the content.
Kurt Vonnegut famously said that “every sentence needs to push the narrative”. Every graphic element needs to be considered and used sparingly to not get in the way of the message, but stage it in a way that sticks.
